English for Speakers of Other LanguagesOur English as a Second Language (ESL) students come from a variety of backgrounds. LVEP encourages preserving a person's native language as they pursue learning another. We offer both one-on-one tutoring for our ESL students and a variety of classes.ESL classes are now in progress at the Charles Town Adult Learning Center and at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Martinsburg, every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We also conduct ESL classes at St. James Catholic Church in Charles Town. Other times by appointment: call the LVEP office at 304-264-0298.  . . . a recent training session for new ESL tutors. |
